Hi, I'm Julie.
As a mom to two amazing kiddos, I began practicing photography on my family to capture all of our special memories. I bought my first "big girl" camera 11 years ago and I've been taking pictures ever since. I've recently upgraded to a mirrorless camera and I am always trying to soak up ways to better myself for my clients. It is a pure joy to me to see families laughing together and to be the one able to freeze that moment in time.
When I'm not behind the camera, I am chauffeuring my kids to and from school, practice, band, dance, and everything in between. We also love to soak up any down time at home or camping when we can! I'm a true country girl at heart and we have our own little zoo at home complete with three dogs and a parrot. Because I love the country so much, most of my photo settings are in that space. It's where I feel the most comfortable and confident shooting and I have even had a few sessions in my backyard. But I am also experienced with shooting indoors and urban settings as well.

You've created the perfect family. Life is good.. but it is chaos. Sometimes it is easy to miss the beauty of every day because you are so rushed to get to the next thing. I've been there. I'm still there. But my job as your photographer is to capture those every day moments, so that you can freeze them in time.
Some of my most favorite pictures are not perfectly posed with everyone looking at the camera (although, we'll get some of those too!) But my favorite images are the ones that show your dynamic as a family — the laughing, the playing, the chaos. I love catching mom and dad looking at each other with love in their eyes, a daughter grabbing for her daddy's hand, or a mama looking adoringly at her son. I like to capture tickle fights and dance parties, belly laughs, and happiness.
Most of all, I want to you to look back at these photographs and remember a day where you hit pause on the BUSY, and focused on what's important.
